Title: Are "Fusion Candidacies" Still Allowed in NH?
Post by: Goatman on March 31, 2017, 10:42:16 pm
Hi Fellow Free Staters,

I'm curious if NH still allows the ability for "fusion candidates" to run for office.  I recall reading as a young Libertarian back in the 90s that NH's Libertarian legislators got elected by running on both the Libertarian ticket as well as the Republican or Democratic ticket.  I know the LPNH only recently regained ballot status after several years, but does anyone know if this fusion capability still exists under NH state law?

Still exists. I believe the lone LP House member, Caleb Dyer, is trying to run on a fusion ticket next time.
