Coming at the end of November
« on: October 29, 2015, 08:51:36 am »

My husband has accepted a job in Portsmouth, and our family is headed up around Thanksgiving.  He is flying up this weekend to do a little house hunting for our family of 5 (3 girls 7,4 and 1).  We homeschool, and we would love to meet some of you guys after we're settled.  We have been urged to look at Dover for homes.  If you guys have any other tips or suggestions, please share.  We're looking forward to joining you guys soon!

Hi & welcome! Congratulations on your impending move to NH, you will love it.

NH is very homeschool-friendly. There are a number of homeschool groups (mostly centered around Manchester, Concord & Nashua).

If you need help with real estate, feel free to reach out to us at Team Porcupine Real Estate. Mark Warden, the lead agent, is an early mover, and has great insight on various areas. We'd be happy to help with your home search.

Dover and Portsmouth are both attractive cities, but also high-tax. You might want to consider some of the surrounding towns like Hampton, Barrington, Rochester, Stratham, Seabrook, Greenland, etc. Congrats on the impending move! There's a lot of good stuff happening on the Seacoast.

This is a little premature, but welcome home!
