Pop-up camper
« on: February 25, 2011, 08:21:00 pm »

We have a Jayco pop-up camper for sale.  Figured someone might want it for PorcFest.  It supposedly sleeps six, but I think that's pushing it, unless some of them are small children.

It's about 12 feet, closed, about 24 feet, open.  Has a sink and a propane cooktop.

Mid-'80's, but well-maintained.

Uses a 1-78" ball, and I have one available if you don't.  It's light enough to tow with a large car (eg, Crown Vic, or the like), or pretty much any truck.

Reasonable delivery within NH possible.

$1000/obo

Just bringing this back up, in case anyone's interested.

Delivery to PorcFest may be available.

Here's one.  Same one we had up there, last year, for anyone who remembers.

I opened it and it's been through several thunderstorms, the past few weeks, with no leaks, so I'd say the roof is pretty sound! :)

Ended up using this for storage, last year, but it's available again.

Half an ounce of gold, or best reasonable offer.  Equivalent in paper with portraits of Benjamin Franklin, or other forms of barter may be considered.

Located in Grafton, but delivery anywhere in NH or Vermont (or parts of Maine) is negotiable.

$1,000 is the "For Sale" price?

Or is $1,000 the "For Lease/Rent" price?

Do you have any photos of the interior/exterior?

How has it been stored...in a garage, or outside?

What sort of maintenance has been performed on it annually, monthly, etc.?

What kind of maintenance or fixes will the buyer need to do?

Is it insulated well (stays warm in the winter, cool in the summer)?

For sale.

There's a photo attached to a previous post in this thread.

Outside.  I've honestly never heard of someone garaging a camper.

What sort of maintenance has been performed on it annually, monthly, etc.

The roof has been sealed yearly.  Other than that, there's not much to maintain on a pop-up.

What kind of maintenance or fixes will the buyer need to do?

I would suggest sealing the roof again (one or two tubes of silicone caulking).  There are a couple small mattress rips that could be patched.  There are a couple holes in the screens, which have been patched, but someone could decide to replace the screens, if desired.

Is it insulated well (stays warm in the winter, cool in the summer)?

Pop-ups are not insulated.  The sides are canvas.
