Attention Anarchists
« on: July 05, 2009, 02:55:03 pm »

Who do you want to see speak at the 2010 Liberty Forum?

Also no complaining about political speakers and minarchist speakers.

I would very much like to see "Christian-libertarian-environmentalist-capitalist" Joel Salatin:

This could bring us a whole new audience too.

I recall posts about Penn Jilette and Trey Parker.
Unlikely to waive speaking fees.
But you never know.

Hmmm...  maybe L. Neil Smith?

Dave Barry would be good (not an anarchist, but good for some publicity)

Given that you're not an anarchist, why are you posting on this thread, instead of one suited to your own political leanings?

Personally, I don't care much for speeches or speakers. I think that's more of a "Kevin" thing and less of an "anarchist" thing.

*Edit: realized this is for Liberty Forum, not Porcfest. Ignore my input, conventions are all about speechifying.*

I have only seen about 10 speeches at LF  not a one all the way thru and I have been to all of the LFs so far.

I LOVE the speeches. I wish there were two or three of me so I could hear more of them.

I really have no input as I don't follow much of anything or anyone outside the FSP and I do find some of the more political folks interesting.

how about a comedian who complains about politicians?
people seemed to like the soapbox idol .... you could have anarchists get up on stage and rail against the politico types .... and if none of them are step up to the plate the other side can declare victory :)
